localis was founded in Monterrey on a simple conviction: the businesses of this city should not have to send their most private matters to someone else's computer. We build and care for AI that lives where you do.
What we do
We sell a machine: a private AI appliance installed in your office, running an open-source model that reads your company's files and answers questions with citations — contracts, spreadsheets, minutes, scans — without a single byte leaving your building. We install it, maintain it, and upgrade it as better models appear.
Founders
Chief Executive Officer. Applied Mathematics and Philosophy at Yale. Works on the models themselves — which open-weight models we run, how they are adapted to Spanish contracts and legal documents, and how we measure whether an answer is actually correct.
Chief Technology Officer. Computer Technology Engineering at the Tec de Monterrey, with a year at a cybersecurity company. Responsible for security, infrastructure, and network design — how the machine is isolated, who can reach it, and how it finds the right document.
Chief Operating Officer. Mechanical Engineering at the Tec de Monterrey. Responsible for the machine itself — which models run on which hardware, thermal design and cooling, and the installation in your office.
